“Miles” is a classic Pearson, built in Portsmouth, RI. She comes with all the
conveniences and comfort of a family cruiser, as well as the equipment and
capabilities of a true Bluewater sailing yacht. “Miles” and her current owners
have traveled extensively together, completing two transatlantic crossings,
passages as far north as Cape Cod, and most recently an adventure through the
Caribbean, Cuba, and Guatemala’s Rio Dulce. Her owners are moving back to
Europe, and she is ready for a new chapter of adventures! “Miles” is fully
equipped for offshore travel, boasting of up-to-date navigation and electronics
systems, a large 62hp Yanmar, in mast main sail furling, a 2018 10.5ft –
3.2m Aruba (Carib) Hypolon RIB with a 2018 Nissan two stroke outboard motor, as
well as the highly sought after quality that Pearson Yachts are famous for. She
has been modified from Ketch to Sloop, and also has the benefit of European VAT
(Import Tax) Paid Valued at 20%.

port cockpit locker. Access to engine under storage locker boxes under companion
way ladder. Behind companion way ladder engine instrument panel and valve box

kicker boomvang. Rondal spinnaker pole. Rigging: Stainless steel standing
rigging 10mm dia. Older than 10years.Single spreaders. Built as a ketch in 1978
and in 1990’s modified to sloop with in-mast furling system fitted,Taller mast
+5.5ft (Designed by marine engineer details on board, see ships papers). All
running rigging updated when necessary. Sails and Canvas: Channon 2018 furling
main sail.Furling genoa 140%Working jib 110% Light weight furling daisy sail
160%Cruising chute MPS and stripper.Storm Jib. Inner Solent stay, masthead to
aft of anchor winch tensioned by Lewmar handfast lever and hand wheel. Stored in
tool locker aft of chart table. New 2023 spray hood with clear Isonglass type
ports. Stainless steel supports for spray hood. Bimini fixed to rear of spray
hood over stainless frame with side panel fixed to cockpit combing. Can be

Accommodations

Classic teak interior Saloon, front and aft cabin 4 (+2) berths. Headroom
saloon: appox 1.95m A large V-berth double cabin forward features full head
height ample hanging and storage lockers. Stainless steel wash basin (not
connected). This cabin can be closed of for guest privacy. This spacious saloon
features two full length settee berths. The U-shaped galley is situated aft of
port settee, oven with 2x remote gas shut off switch. Opposite the galley to
starboard is a second companionway ladder to main deck. Aft of companionway is a
spacious head with sink and hot and cold mixer tap. Electric head with discharge
overboard or through separate waste holding tank. To aft a separate large shower
stall with pumped discharge overboard. Storage locker in wall behind shower.
Shower has cloths washing bowl used on passage. Going aft from the saloon area,
there is a doorway to master aft cabin with dedicated navigation station to
starboard and double berth to port. A large storage locker is next to chart
table, lockers over bed and bookcase above.

Galley

2 galley sinks with 12volt pumped and foot pump. Facility for salt water tap not
operational needs pump. Service valves under sink serving the three water tanks.
Water pump / filter and accumulator tank. Crockery and cutlery draws and stowage
behind cooker. 2 burner gas Force 10 stove and oven. 2020 Waco Cool Master
compressor driven fridge (sized for 4 cubic ft. but) fitted into 1 cubic ft
stainless steel fridge box .Insulated below and sides. The fridge runs for 15/20
minuets per hour (in tropics), draws less than 2 amps per hour. Compressor unit
mounted under counter top.

stroke outboard motor. Older no age given 5hp Toshiba outboard motor. Outboard
motor bracket on Taff rail aft. 20 litre fuel take and hose and 10 Litre tank
and hose. Dinghy seat with cushion and storage 2023. Dinghy chaps canvas
covering tubes. Lifting eyes and shackles to lift dinghy on board.
